Where the hell did January go? Oh wait...I know, I wished it away, counting down the days to pay day. Anyways, quick post to look back over the first month of 2018 and some January favourites.

Agate & Geodes

I've got a bit of a thing for agate and geodes at the minute; it's probably since watching Mr. Kate's living room video a few weeks ago. I know a lot of people have crystals for spirituality and healing, but I don't really know much about that - I just love how they look. They're so beautiful and intricate. These are some of my favourites on Amazon.

Dri Buddi

We don't have an extractor in our kitchen so I really don't like drying clothes in there because of cooking smells. We have a washer and dryer out in the garage and use a heated airer for the stuff that can't be tumbled (Martyn's not into wearing crop tops.) While it's cold the heated airer does absolutely nada out in the garage, we heard the Dri Buddi was good so decided to give one a try. Definitely impressed with it so far, dries pretty quick and most stuff barely needs ironing afterwards. For some reason I get Paloma Faith in my head whenever I'm loading it up: "Go on and dry bud-di, dry bud-di." I'm a bit weird, I know.

MTV Tee

The days have been a little brighter and the sun is shining a little more often, and I go into a complete trance every time the sun hits my MTV sequin colour change t-shirt. Love a little Primark bargain, I think Lenny likes it too.

My House This Month

Throughout January I took part in the #myhousethismonth photo challenge and competition on Instagram. I've really enjoyed doing it and I'm going to have another go in February. Thanks to those who have liked and followed along with me in January. Here are a few of my favourite posts.

Nicola's Baby Shower

My baby sis is soon to have her second baby - so now that Christmas has been and gone and she's given me the green light to do her a baby shower this time, I've made a start on getting it all planned for her. She popped round for a brew last week and I finally got some kicks and wriggles from my little nephew. Can't wait to meet him and if he comes early like she thinks he might, he'll be joining us.

Spa Day

The bestie and I had an amazing day at the Macdonald Craxton Wood Spa earlier this week. I swear I could do with a spa day like once a week, it was just what I needed - massage, facial, afternoon tea, prosecco, sauna and a good girly catch-up.

80s & 90s Movies

I've been enjoying a bit of January nostalgia, watching some of the movies I loved when I was growing up. Martyn's been hard into gaming this month so I've been cosying up in bed with an old movie and a bit of Pinterest of course.

Still on the list, I've got: Big, Pretty Woman, Dirty Dancing, Death Becomes Her and Drop Dead Fred. If anyone has any more movie suggestions for me, I'd love to hear them.

See ya later, Stephi x
